HapticMac ("App") is developed by ROLIA GROUP LIMITED ("we", "us").
The App does not send data off your Mac:
HapticMac uses the macOS Accessibility API to detect mouse hover events and the Force Touch trackpad API to generate haptic feedback. All processing happens entirely on your device. No data about your mouse movements, clicks, or haptic usage is recorded or transmitted.
The App stores your preferences (haptic strength, enabled state) in macOS UserDefaults and a license key in the macOS Keychain. This data never leaves your Mac.
Our website uses Mixpanel to record page views. Mixpanel receives the page path, browser and device information, a pseudonymous identifier stored in your browser's local storage, and network information such as your IP address. Mixpanel processes this information under its Privacy Policy.
If you request a trial download link, we use your email address to send that link. Purchases are processed by Paddle.com under its Privacy Policy. We receive your email address and license entitlement, but not your payment details.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
